Recently Microsoft announced the
availability date of Windows 8.1, updating its operating system, manufacturers
of machines: it will be for the end of August. But that does not tell users
what date they can get their hands on to their computer.
According to ZDNet.com our colleague,
Mary-Jo Foley, a specialist in Redmond company, no official communication had
been received from Microsoft. But she said, according to his sources - it is
usually very reliable - it will be around mid-October.
A year between Windows 8 and Windows 8.1
This will both launch date electronic
products with Windows 8.1 and the general availability through a Technet and
MSDN download or purchase. This is a change of strategy over Windows 8, where
the availability of both professional platforms had taken only a few days out
of the RTM version (for manufacturers).
Microsoft has so far not commented on
the information obtained by ZDNet.com. Two exits apart from the RTM version and
the final version contradict the rumor about a very short introduction. That
said, this does not prevent Microsoft launches Windows 8.1 if officially
mid-October, will be able to manage two important publications in one year
against three years between Windows 7 and Windows 8.
That would leave him again, time to fix bugs that could boost
manufacturers. And are sure to rise: the pre-release made available in Windows 8.1 is still much room for
improvement, but Microsoft should be a fairly large patch between the
publication of the final RTM release and general availability.
